Me: A Bit More of the Story

I used to love writing when I was a kid, but I was never very good at most of the creative type stuff. Since I've always loved computers and gaming, it was kind of inevitable that I'd eventually get into the E-Sports community. Since my favorite E-Sport is Starcraft 2, which I kind of suck at, and I wanted to get into the community more, I ended up being rather involved on Teamliquid.net in the Tech boards.

I started blogging on TL a bit, mostly about tech type stuff, but I can't always be as direct or blunt as I like, since the site standards cut into ripping people a new one. Can't say as I blame them, the awesome moderation has kept TeamLiquid as the premiere community site for all things Starcraft for something like a decade or more now.

I'd forwarded random excerpts or rants to my dad, since he's a geek and could see the humor, and he suggested I try going for a serious blog, as opposed to just short blurbs on another private site. I figured hey, why the hell not, I have the free time, it's something I enjoy, and I won't feel as bad when I rip into certain brands.

So, now I'm here, doing this. I don't always update as much as I'd like, because I'm trying to avoid this being some stupid Twitter type shit where I post some random filler just because I feel obliged to. I hope that people who like reading the stuff I have to post are the types to prefer decent quality content, rather than just quantity.

Obviously, since I'm a bit ranty, heavily opinionated, and slightly psychotic, I'm definitely a bit niche. But I hope people can still enjoy what I've got to offer, be it snide humor, or, well, snide humor.

The guts of my rig, with all the wires a mess. Not that it matters in a Lanboy Air.
Me, with some good BBQ sauce my parents brought me for Christmas while I was living in Colorado. Yes, BBQ sauce. They also brought me a cooler of Tex-Mex. What of it?
